Commonly known as Italian cordovan, “Shell Cordovan Toscana Italia” — hereafter referred to as Toscana Cordovan — is made from the finest raw hides sourced from Germany and Poland. Over the course of approximately six months, the leather undergoes vegetable tanning using 100% natural materials, followed by semi-transparent aniline dyeing and glazing that brings out its natural surface texture. Toscana Cordovan also presents a wide range of experimental articles unlike anything previously seen.

Toscana Shell Cordovan has developed a dedicated following, particularly among makers of shoes and small leather goods. It is used not only by established manufacturers, but also by young, trend-conscious brands such as Tanner Goods in the United States. Through word of mouth alone, its quality has already earned strong popularity among makers around the world.

We were the first to introduce this Toscana Shell Cordovan, infused with an Italian sensibility, to Korea. More than anyone, we have followed their progress and experimental spirit with deep interest. We also have great confidence in the high-quality cordovan of their Classic lineup, which was created after much refinement and consideration.

At the same time, we welcome the diverse artistic options they create in leather, such as Marbled and Rothko — sometimes beautiful, and at other times charmingly imperfect.
